Indie Design GAL 2015: What to knit? Kids and baby

So this is my final Indie Design GAL sale post, and I've saved the best for last: kids and baby patterns. I love knitting for small people, as it's so easy to go classic or wild, easy or complicated, and none of it takes too long. And children grow so fast there's always an excuse to cast on something new!

All the patterns featured here are available with 25% discount if you use the code giftalong2015. The code is valid until 23.59 (EST) on Friday 27th November 2015.

I adore this cardigan, and have done since the first time I saw it. I have knitted at least three, but not one for my daughter, an omission that I will have to make up for soon.

Granny's Favourite by Georgie Hallam
Another pattern that I go back to over and over again. I have now knitted four and will happily cast on off and immediately cast on another. With options for sleeve and body lengths, and sizes up to age 12, it's a pattern that will have a lot of life. And if you like matchy-matchy, there's an adult version too!

Belle Isle by Heidi Atwood-Reeves
Such a pretty design, and so delicate looking. I need to knit one of these for my daughter before she gets too big.

I hope you've enjoyed these sale posts. I've really enjoyed looking at some new (to me) designs, and looking back at some old favourites. The rest of this evening will be spent deciding which patterns I'm going to have time to knit for the knit and crochet along part of the GAL, which is going on as I type over in the Indie Design Gift-A-Long group on Ravelry.* Over the next few weeks, I'll be interviewing a few designers whose designs have caught my eye, as well as showing you what I'm working on in the GAL. Happy knitting.
